From a young age, our Founder Paralegal, Cross Turner, knew his mission was to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. Born and raised in South America, he always felt a deep connection to America, dreaming of a time when he could spread his wings and explore the world. His passion for immigration systems, particularly those of the United States and Canada, drove him to study visas, requirements, and qualifications extensively. Having lived in six different countries, including Canada and the USA—where he now calls home—Cross has drawn on his diverse experiences to become an enthusiastic expert in immigration services.

Cross Turner began his career as a freelancer, assisting friends and their networks with their visa applications, which ignited a deep passion and mission within him. This dream took a significant step forward when he reached the age to pursue higher education at his local university. However, financial constraints prevented him from attending law school, so he opted to study Business with a focus on International Relations instead. This decision opened doors to a global, diverse industry, allowing him to work with international businesses and collaborate with employees from various backgrounds, further fueling his commitment to immigration services.

After graduating, Cross Turner eagerly seized the opportunity to live his dream when he received a job offer to transfer to an office in the USA, which he enthusiastically accepted. This experience proved invaluable as he meticulously managed every detail of his applications and paperwork, earning high praise from the HR manager for his exceptional handling of the immigration process. It was during this time that Cross realized his true calling lay in immigration. Following his time in the USA, he relocated to Toronto, Canada, where he continued to assist individuals with the Canadian immigration system. This priceless experience solidified his purpose and commitment to working in the immigration field.

In 2015, Cross Turner embarked on his journey by attending free courses, seminars, events, and speeches delivered by influential immigration attorneys, specialists, and enthusiasts. It was during this period that Cross discovered his true passion and resolved to dedicate his life to helping immigrants navigate the complexities of the immigration system and achieve their dreams. 

After spending significant time in Canada, Cross Turner returned to the United States in 2019 with a renewed focus on achieving his long-held dream of becoming a licensed immigration attorney. Determined to fulfill this goal, he embarked on a rigorous action plan, preparing for the LSAT while pursuing paralegal certifications, including the prestigious national certification from NALA and additional immigration-related courses. Leveraging his extensive experience, multilingual skills, and deep passion for the field, Cross joined immigration law firms as a paralegal, further advancing his career in the immigration sector.

Having witnessed numerous instances where malpractice prevails and client care is neglected, our founder Cross Turner recognized a critical need for genuine, compassionate service in the immigration industry. As an immigrant himself, Cross understands firsthand the challenges and emotional toll of the immigration process. Guided by his principles and strong moral values, Cross Turner made the pivotal decision to leave his position at a workplace where he felt the needs of immigrants were not being adequately met. Recognizing the importance of creating a supportive environment where individuals could find comprehensive care for their immigration needs, Cross understood that his work was deeply personal, impacting people with dreams and aspirations who sought a safer, better life for their families. Convinced that he could not achieve this vision in his current role, he chose to step away and embark on a mission to build a dedicated space for immigrants to thrive and secure their futures. 

Driven by his personal experiences and a commitment to making a meaningful difference, he established Immi Services to provide the authentic support and dedication that clients truly deserve, ensuring their needs are met with integrity and respect.
